Hello potential new member!! I'm Haruhi Fujioka! I'm the creator and the manager of Guilty, Beauty, Love. I have had a long history of Role Playing, starting with a chat site called RavenBlack.net. This is where I first got into role playing and that started back in about 2001. I've role played there for about five or six years before I got tired of it. And now I find myself here on ZetaBoards continuing my role play experience and share it with you!!
Looking at the site right now, it probably seems very uninteresting to you considering all of the good things are currently hidden from view. There is a reason for this and I apologize for the lack of preview to the site. Because of this, this little board containing sneak peeks into the site has been made to help you decide better if Guilty, Beauty, Love is the site for you. Take your time moving through the overview of the site and I'll try to keep it as brief as possible so you're not reading a novel just to get a preview of a site. Enjoy the overview and I hope to see you applying to become a part of this wonderful community!

The setting for Guilty, Beauty, Love is at Ouran Academy after Tamaki made his decision to stay at Ouran. Guilty, Beauty, Love follows the anime series of Ouran High School Host Club instead of the manga.
Also in this setting, there is the "Commoners World" for those who don't attend the Academy.
//How did GBL come to be?\\
Before I created GBL, I had several other sites under my wing that I was, for lack of better words, neglecting. After taking a small break and becoming discouraged due to the lack of activity on my site, I found an active site and got back into the swing of RPing, storming head first into a pile of RPs and stories with many different people. So I got into Ouran High School Host Club and decided to attempt to find a decent Ouran site to become a member of to get more of it. I was disappointed to find many rather crappy looking Ouran RP sites littered with one liners and stat systems that I had no interest in. Deciding I could do better, I created my own site with big help from Tamaki, who was a member of my previous failing site. From there, Guilty, Beauty, Love (as I wanted a far more interesting name than some of the ones I had seen) was born and I managed to bring in some more people to make the site interesting. This has, by far, been my most eventful site, as in I have had more experiences with this site than any previously. I've been stolen from. I've had bad interactions with crazed members. I've gotten into a few arguments with members who did not agree with something I've said concerning a character of theirs or whatnot. Despite some of the downfalls, I've had quite a few ups as well. I've meant amazing people here and I don't know what I would do if I ever lost this site. This hasn't been the most active site I've managed, but it surely has been the most worth wile one, making this site something I hope to keep alive for a while.
//Purpose of GBL\\
What is the purpose of this site? Originally, it was to give me someplace to RP Ouran and meet others who liked the series. Despite this, this site isn't meant just for me. It's also for other members who is looking for a friendly environment to place their creativity in. This place is for interacting with others and finding other people out there in the big, vast world that share the same interests as we do. We RP to have fun here. Not to start fights. We RP here to create vast and impressive characters with the help of our fellow members by shaping and developing them through RP. The destination is not the part that we often worry about here. What we want is the journey, the story of the character that got them to where they are and it's that story that we try to share with our fellow RPers. That is the purpose of GBL. To create a story with other members and make it the best damn thing anyone has ever read.

//Errands/Chores\\
Errands are used to get characters more involved in role playing. The errands are usually set for two to three characters each and may consist of the characters traveling and just role playing to help build up on their relationships with each other. This is not a combat forum so there will be no errands where your character will have to take out a sword or gun and kill someone else. This isn't Bleach, Naruto or Final Fantasy. Characters are allowed to do up to three errands at once if they so please and can either bring who they want with them or they can be assigned partners to go with. It all depends on what sort of errand it is.
//Dances\\
These dances are for the Academy students to get together for a formal dance once every few months. These dances will most likely all take place in the Ball room They are made for characters to have fun and also build on their relationships.

The Currency is Yen- or ¥. ¥500, five hundred Yen, etc. There is an official track on this board with a code established by yours truly. You may have a rich character or a poor character. That all depends on how much posting you do. Yen is rewarded for the posting you do and where. You get more Yen from starting RPs and also from joining and continuing in RPs. Keep in mind the traveling rule though.
//Earning Yen\\ The more you post, the more you earn. You'll only earn Yen by posting in Role Play sections. Your post count will go up no matter where you post but Yen will only be earned through the Role Play boards.
//Bank\\ If you want to store your Yen to limit your spending for a certain amount of time, there is a Bank feature added to the Navigation bar where you can Deposit or Withdraw anytime you need to.

Creating a character can be a difficult task on a board. There are certain things you will want to be aware of, such as the setting and the overall story, to make sure you fit in. We do encourage a wide variety of characters... just make sure that it isn't something that would be out of place.
Basics
There are some basic rules when it comes to making a Character. Most are already Outlined in the Rules Section on the Forum.
//Account\\ Proboards v5 makes it easy to have multiple accounts on one forum. At the bottom right corner of the forum, there is an icon for "Switch Accounts." Using that, you can easily create a new account and switch between them too. That being said, you can not make more than one character per account. If you want another character, you must make a new account. Also, you can't make another character until you reach level 30 on the previous one. [/font][/ul]
